In tarim oilfield,the prediction accuracy of carbonate reservoir has been improved from 80%to 95%by increasing the key technologies of carbonate exploration and fine reservoir description.
Carbonate reservoirs in tarim basin are buried at an average depth of more than 6000m.The reservoir is highly heterogeneous,with small volume,different shapes and complex internal structure of a single fractured body.In order to find a good fractured cavern and realize the efficient development of carbonate rocks,tarim oilfield has carried out a comprehensive,high-density and multi-component 3d seismic acquisition to improve the prediction accuracy of carbonate reservoirs and fluids.At the same time,tarim oilfield has improved pre-stack depth migration,reverse time migration and other processing technologies and vigorously promoted their application,providing technical support for improving the success rate of drilling,efficient well ratio and efficient production.
The thick and loose undulating surface and deep carbonate rocks in the tazhong desert are hard to crack.In tarim oilfield,seven key technologies,such as point-to-point excitation well depth design based on accurate surface model,have been developed and formed.After the implementation of these new technologies,the reef-shoal type of ordovician lianglitage formation and the buried hill type of yingshan formation were discovered and rapidly transformed into geological reserves.At the same time,the success rate of drilling increased from 40%to 83%,which ensured the steady increase of oil and gas production in tazhong.
With further exploration and development of geophysical prospecting technology,tarim oilfield achieved by conventional 2 d and 3 d technology to the wide line+large portfolio and high-precision 3 d,wide azimuth three dimensional technology shift,shift from conventional explanation explains to visualize three-dimensional technology,from the macroscopic reservoir prediction technology,cell division to the slot hole system transformation.
